Generally these pages can be viewed as well with Microsoft Internet Explorer as with Netscape Navigator. The pages should also work with older versions than 5.0 and 7.0.
The navigation menu on the left hand side works on JavaScript, as does the title image, so the JavaScript plugin should be installed and working, otherwise navigation will be impossible. The only other JavaScript feature so far is the magnifying glass.
The pages can be viewed with different screen resolutions, they have been tested with 800x600 and 1024x768. Using lower resolutions the text frame becomes quite small and the pictures may be put in other places than planned. When using resolutions lower than 800x600 it is feasible to open the navigational links in the menu on the left by selecting "Open link in new window".
Elsewhere we tried not to use plugins, as possible, as most school computers work on the lowest possible plugin configuration.
